Coming from a country where even the inhabitants often cannot read or really understand wine labels, I have a certain sympathy for easy to understand, well designed labels. In that sense I can appreciate labels that have an easy to understand message - they make it easy for the customer to not only buy a wine, but also walk away from it. In that sense it is for women to decide if they want to be identified with pink stilettos as the main motif guiding their decision making. The same obviously goes for men and porn stars on labels. In that sense it is good that I can justify buying wine by the label by pure scientific interest and Wine Rambler research...
