"Viviser" was the name given by the "Excellences of Berne" (masters during 200 years of the Country of Vaud), to the wine produced in Vevey on the banks of Lake Geneva. Of course, Chasselas vine trees.
Right beside, the "Losanner" was also Chasselas but it was produced in Lausanne vineyards. Those vineyards - Lavaux vineyards - are today a UNESCO site.
