I'm relieved to hear that, despite my forebodings, Gauby's are not doomsday wines. Having to write off Gauby as a bad job would all but destroy the south-of-france section of my wine cellar (I say section, when it's really just randomly crammed bottles). But I stayed on the Languedoc case and opened an interesting good old boy from Faugères two days ago. More on that soon.
